Saja Fathy, Business Development & Projects Manager, has been a pivotal member of T.H.E, seamlessly integrating her technical expertise, project management skills, and business acumen to drive the firm’s growth and success. With experience spanning Middle East and the United States, she brings a global perspective to her work, effectively managing both local and international projects and partnerships.

Born in Los Angeles, California, Saja holds dual citizenship, allowing her to navigate diverse markets with ease. She earned her B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering from the American University in Cairo in 2012, establishing a strong foundation in design and planning. Her passion for urban development and strategic planning led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Planning from the University of Southern California (USC), graduating in 2018. During her time at USC, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Economic Development, contributing to urban policy studies and strategic planning initiatives. She later gained hands-on experience in the U.S. as a Junior Planner at PlaceWorks, Los Angeles, before returning to T.H.E to further her career.

As Projects Manager, Saja oversees complex, large-scale developments, ensuring seamless coordination across all phases. Her ability to manage intricate project timelines, budgets, and resources has been instrumental in delivering high-quality outcomes.

In her capacity as Business Development Manager, Saja plays a crucial role in shaping T.H.E’s strategic direction. She is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering key partnerships, and driving market expansion. Her ability to anticipate industry trends and align them with the firm’s long-term vision has significantly contributed to securing high-profile projects and strengthening T.H.E’s industry presence. She is also deeply involved in preparing technical and financial proposals, contract negotiations, and business operations planning.

Beyond her core responsibilities, Saja is committed to mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and community engagement. She actively participates in professional organizations, including the Rotaract Cairo Royal, the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate, the Egyptian Junior Businessmen Association (EJB), and the American Planning Association (APA). Her dedication to professional excellence and industry advancement continues to inspire her colleagues and shape the future of T.H.E.
