Site Architect
Job Description
Site Architect independently performs a wide variety of conventional and moderately-complex architectural assignments by applying architectural design standards, practices, and techniques. Provides construction supervision for precast and prefabricated buildings.
Responsibilities
Perform general architectural works including architectural design, site visits and inspections and prepares related reports.
Review CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards prepared by architects.
Make new proposals and/or modify existing drawings when necessary.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards as well as client requirements.
Write construction specifications and prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials when needed and interface with suppliers as required.
Coordinate work with engineering and construction units at project site. Review, approve, and issue detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.
Provide technical guidance to Architectural staff working on the same project.
Education & Experience
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in architecture
- Knowledge of related software: Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and 3D Tools.
- Previous experience is required (Construction supervision experience in a consulting firm.).
